about

-Notes-

On the surface, Doggie Dreamin' is a peculiar story of love, longing, life and perhaps faith. It takes place on a day in the life of a Dog who has to go through the emotions of missing his lifelong owner which he loves dearly. The owner leaves in the morning for work and as the day progresses the Dog goes through different dreams or daydreams while laying on the kitchen floor with the midday, afternoon and early evening hours passing him by.

One of these daydreams is "Soho Señorita" where our friend the Dog dreams himself away to the big city, San Diego. There he cruises down the street on his way to the love of his life pondering about everything going on his lovelife and everyone surrounding it. He especially thinks about the fear of losing her and the effects her father is having on their relationship.
"Tuning Into Boulevard Live Radio". While laying on the kitchen floor he daydreams to the sounds of the radio stations house band playing outside in the gardens by the water.
The title track "Doggie Dreamin" is the longing the Dog feels to just leave everything behind and go and explore new places together with his owner. He imagines a place where they have all the time in the world to do whatever they please.

Although these are only a few of the stories this collection of songs are or could be about the rest is up to anyone who wants to put these pieces together into a greater, personal meaning.
Thank you for listening and I really do hope it satisfies.

When you think about it, aren't we all dogs waiting for our owners to come back home.
